1994, where he worked for about 3 years. After that, he joined Amalgam
Group of Companies, in 1997, where he worked in the Secretarial
Department handling all group company compliances, including a listed
company,for about 6 years.

Audits, Due Diligence, One Person Companies, and mentorship to several
startups. CS N Balasubramanian is a faculty for Corporate Laws at
various academic institutions, and has presented various papers on
corporate laws at many Forums and Seminars, and has published
various articles pertaining to corporate laws, in reputed law journals
CS N Balasubramanian is a very active member of the Kochi Chapter of CS N Balasubramanian is a very
active member of the Kochi Chapter of
ICSI, and was a Managing Committee member of the Chapter from 2002
to 2014, holding various positions in the Management Committee. He
was the Chairman of the Chapter in 2012. In 2019, he was elected to the
post of Secretary of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the
Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In 2020, he was the Vice
Chairman of SIRC. He was the Chairman of SIRC for the year 2021.
He is the Co-founder and Chief Consultant of M/s. Directus Consultants He is the Co-founder and

Private Limited, a total consultancy firm, having its Corporate Oce at
Cochin, and branch at Thrissur. He is also the founder partner and
Consultant of M/s. BVR and Associates Company Secretaries LLP, and
Founder Trustee of Directus Foundation, a public Charitable Trust. For
more than 14 years, N Balasubramanian is also the editor of Darshana, an
online magazine, on legal update
